Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

This recipe makes a delightful banana cake packed with chocolate chips for a delightful way to enjoy a classic flavor combination.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour dry
  • 2/3 cup white sugar dry
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder dry
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt dry
  • 1 cup mashed bananas mashed
  • 1 egg whole
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup milk liquid
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips solid
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine bananas, egg, melted butter and milk.
  4. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture until blended. Be careful not to over mix.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
