Roasted Garlic Hummus
A creamy and flavorful hummus with the rich aroma of roasted garlic. Perfect as a spread or dip.
Ingredients
- 1 chickpeas can (15 oz), drained and rinsed
- 1/4 tahini cup
- 2 lemon juice tablespoons
- 2 olive oil tablespoons
- 1/4 roasted garlic cup
- 1/2 ground cumin teaspoon
- to taste salt none
- as needed water none
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap a whole garlic head in foil and roast until soft, about 40 minutes.
- Allow the roasted garlic to cool, then squeeze out the cloves.
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, roasted garlic, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Add water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, if desired.
